iPhone app
Find your way around the iPhone app
Learn what each tab in the iPhone app is for and where to find the things you do most.
The iPhone app has five tabs along the bottom: Dashboard, Calendar, Courses, Follow-ups and Me. It uses the same account as the web app at coursecadence.app, and everything syncs both ways: a course you add on your phone is on the web, and a change you make on the web shows up on your phone without refreshing. To install the app, see Get the iPhone app and sign in.
Check your week on Dashboard and Calendar
Dashboard is your home screen. Until you add a course, it says Let’s set up your semester. and shows the Add your first course card and the Get set up checklist. Once you have a course, it shows:
- Welcome back with your first name, and the week you're in.
- Three numbers for this week: Study blocks this week, Completion rate and Assignments due now.
- A row of course chips. Tap a course to show only its dates, or tap All courses to show everything.
- Upcoming syllabus dates: dated work from all your syllabi, soonest first. Tap an item to see its details.
Calendar shows your classes, graded items, study sessions and personal events.
- Tap Calendar in the tab bar.
- Tap a view:
- Month: the whole month.
- Week: the week strip, with yesterday, today and tomorrow by the hour underneath. This is the default. Swipe the timeline to move three days.
- Day: one day by the hour.
- (Optional) Tap the arrows to move back or forward, or tap Today to come back to today.
- (Optional) Tap Courses:, select the courses you want to see, then tap Done. Select All courses to show everything again.
Tap an item to open its details, where you can mark it done. To add something, tap + Add, then Course event or Personal event. To get study sessions for the week ahead, tap Plan next week, check the Proposed study sessions, and tap the Add button. See Use the calendar and Plan study sessions for the details, which work the same way as on the web.
If you're offline, the calendar shows Offline · saved calendar: the last copy you opened. You can look, but you can't make changes until you're back online.

- Answer it in the sheet. Your calendar updates straight away.
